Backstory & Historical Context:

This is a world where civilization is very similar to ancient China's, but it has a better grasp of ironware and technology. In ancient Chinese history, no matter how the dynasty changed, there was always a loop of division and reunion. This world refers to the phase where different forces scramble for power, and Jing is an assassin that serves one of these forces.

Idea:

When it comes to her ability, Jing is capable of moving swiftly within the bamboo forest and is very responsive. Therefore, I referred to traditional Chinese costumes and integrated the ironware into her outfit, and I also added some sci-fi elements to her weapon to enhance such a feature.

For the 3D model please refer to my 3D Art page.

Backstory:

The adventurers are living on a continent where magic and machinery prosper together. It is also an era where the second industrial Revolution (Magic and technology) was carried out based on the first industrial Revolution (machinery).Mira is a girl who survived the genocide but was badly wounded. Mira's flesh is mostly encrusted in steel armor, and her left arm is transformed into a machine gun powered by magic crystal mineral fluid. The bewitching machine gun can be used as a traditional sniper rifle with an elongated barrel; however, when the barrel is shortened, the machine gun's dual-barrel design fires high-penetrating rays and magical gases derived from magic crystals, rendering Mira's body invisible for tens of seconds. Mira has a turquoise loop that connects her organs to a magic crystal ore between her belt and the soles of her shoes. When the body's physical power and health are at their lowest, the conjugal loop will send a consciousness signal to the magic crystal ore between the belt and the shoe's sole, which will project the magic guide structure to continue fighting and defend the body.

Character Design - Mira

Idea:

Regarding character design, I tend to present females in a more masculine way to cater to the battlefield. For example, I highlighted the muscles and used lighter pupil color to make the character seem more aggressive. In this work, I sought inspiration from sci-fi themes to integrate witchcraft into advanced technology, which also indicates the transformation of Mira’s destiny.
