
THE SACRED ENCOUNTER
I created the characters for our animated short film, The Sacred Encounter. For the knight character, I sculpted the human body in ZBrush, box-modeled the armor in Maya, and proceeded to ZBrush for detailed sculpting. I created the apparel for the pastor using Marvelous Designer based on the knight’s body I made.

I drew inspiration from authentic knight armor, artwork from the medieval period, and concept arts by modern artists, which allowed me to design armor that not only captures the essence of the era but also reflects our independent artistic vision. We added many scratches and weathered marks onto the armor when sculpting in ZBrush to create the worn effect. When it comes to texturing, we added burn marks and wounds to the face for better storytelling.
