Short Videos
Introduction: Since 2021, I have been creating and managing short-form video content across platforms such as Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram Reels for accounts including Lens Lab (450+k subscribers on Snapchat) and CLO3D (200k Followers on Instagram and 2.7k followers on TikTok). When it comes to short-form videos, I believe that a subtle blend of product-focused content, memes, and company culture can create a more approachable and relatable brand image. Combined with genuine user interactions, this approach strengthens community engagement and enhances audience retention.
The Sacred Encounter
Introduction: This is a CG short film created by a three-person team (me included) within three months. Set on the stage of a post-war medieval world, this short film conveys a knight's journey and his encounter with a mysterious pastor in the cathedral.
Role: Environment and camera shots for the interior of the cathedral, character development, and video editing.
I am Not Enough
Introduction: This is a visual story video project that we completed in 2 weeks. I coordinated a team of 5 to create the whole video, from brainstorming and storyboarding to the final production. The theme is about an insecure artist who journeyed to discover her passion and confidence.
Role: Producer, cameraman, video editor, music composer
Born to be Gaga
Introduction: This is a megamix of Lady Gaga’s top hits as the individual remix project for the course COM3508 - Emerging Technologies in Multimodal Communication. Both audio and visual were edited individually.
Time spent: 2 weeks
A + Rivals
Introduction: This short film revolves around two top-performing students whose competition with each other leads them to resort to cheating during an exam, only to face consequences in the end. The shots were taken over a weekend, with the entire production spanning a week. When it comes to video shooting and editing, it was different from the previous projects in that the storytelling was more focused on having the concepts comprehended by the audience. In this short film, the main idea was pretty straightforward so I had to design the visual presentation in a way that showcases the tension between the two people while maintaining the playful and hilarious parts.
Role in the project: Director, cameraman, video editor
